Otis has more than 20 years of public graffiti art experience, and since 1998 has retained his position as New Zealand’s highest profile graffiti artist.

He entered public life in his late teens as half of popular hip hop duo MC OJ and Rhythm Slave. He has performed as a vocalist with Joint Force and Stylee Crew. His broadcasting partnership with Mark “Slave” Williams carried the duo into a long-running Wednesday drive-time radio slot on BFM called “The Wednesday Special” and then to hosting the “Base FM breakfast” show on Base FM. The duo’s radio celebrity transferred to television with the award winning “Mo’ Show.” After 20years away from performing and producing music , in 2016 he returned to the medium in collaboration with Mike Weston , Tom Ludvigson and others as Cardboard&Computers
His first solo exhibition Opto 2000, produced with pop culture impresario Mike Weston, marked the beginning of an innovative art production and management association that evolved into the very successful Weston Frizzell branded collaborative art identity.
A man of many talents. An artistic innovator, style leader, artist, hip hop performer, radio personality, tattooist, graphic designer and chauffeur to the stars and a success in every pursuit, he is one of the true stars of New Zealand’s alternative universe.
Recently, Otis has started ‘The Lucky Taco’ taco truck and food brand with his wife, Sarah.
When he isn’t on the grill serving up the best tacos in the country, he’s at The Area with Mike Weston trying to figure out how to get an artwork in every home in Aotearoa.
