Limn Gallery presents 'THE MAIN LINE - A homage to graffiti on Aotearoa’s most iconic freight carriage', sponsored by Urbanaut and BurgerFuel. From the 9th to the 24th of April Limn Gallery featured over 25 graffiti works presented on miniature SpaceRunner freight carriages that have been meticulously hand-crafted by Christchurch-based small-scale artist, Ghostcat.
About the show:
The Main Line, a show featuring 28 custom-built miniature trains, produced by Ghostcat, each decorated by a graffiti artist paying homage to the iconic Spacerunner carriage.
This collaboration saw works from some of the best graffiti artists across the country including; ASKEW ONE, BERST, DCYPHER, DOVE, DROWS, DYLE52, FIASCO, FREAK, FUEGO, IKARUS, LURQ, MEEP, MORKS, OPTO, PEAS, PHAT1, PK, REIGN, REVOS, SIAR267, TEPID, TOGO, VENTS, VESIL , WAYST, YIKES, and YSEK.

Meet Ghostcat
Ghostcat (aka Mike Beer), is a UK-born, Christchurch based scratchbuilding artist with a varied background across the creative spectrum. From a pathway including tattooing, theatre prop production and purveyor of pop culture, having previously been the owner of The Monster Mailman.
Ghostcat is heavily influenced by outsider culture and urban decay, his output ranges from damaged heritage buildings to all aspects of the urban environment.
