Morks New Zealand Street Artist Christchurch New Zealand Urban Art

Morks

Morks art began in the dead of night leaving his mark on the New Zealand underground Graffiti scene where his bold no-nonsense style stuck out down the main south line and soon became a household name around the south island. Joining the army at 16, it wasn't until he returned from his tour of duty in East Timor that Morks artistic self began to take shape. At 18 he became a head artist in one of New Zealand's most iconic Tattoo studios 'Dig a Tattoo'. In a world gone digital, Morks stays true to his roots creating each work by hand in his private studio nestled at the feet of the southern alps.
