C+D (Cornish & Domergue) is the Australian artistic collaboration between E.L.K and Christophe Domergue. E.L.K, aka Luke Cornish, is an Australian artist who creates hyper-realistic images using up to 85 layers of hand-cut acetate and aerosol paint, becoming the first to be nominated for the Archibald Prize with a stencil portrait, while Christophe Domergue, born in Sydney and completing a Master of Art at UNSW Art & Design in 2017, is known for his "Peeling" technique that uses resin and pigments to unveil urban layers inspired by industrial sites and 90s rave culture, with a focus on revealing the beauty in urban industrial landscapes.
